Pedrow Rolin Obituary

He was born December 31, 1937, in Atmore, Alabama, son of the late Woodrow and Estelle (McGhee) Rolin.
Pedrow resided in the Sturgis and Burr Oak area since 1979. On August 19, 1961 he married Margaret Fritsch in Antigo, Wisconsin.
Pedrow was a talented pipe fabricator retiring from Rood Industries where he had been employed from 1981-2001.
He was a longtime member of Whole Life Church in Sturgis. He was also a proud member of Poarch Band of Creek Indians in Atmore, Alabama. Pedrow was an avid loyal fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, "Roll Tide". He enjoyed gardening, loved fishing and cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years: Margaret; sons: Roy (Emily) Rolin of Bronson, Michigan; Keith (Tiffany) Rolin of LaGrange, Indiana and grandchildren: Holly (Raymond) Pierucki, Joseph (April) Rolin, Autumn (Brandon) Thibideau, Amber (Ashley Ramer) Hibschman and Kaylie (Matt) Troyer; great grandchildren: Bennett, Caleb, Faith, Alexis, Addison, Brooklynn and Carson; sisters: Joyce (Daniel) Philyaw, Ethel Walker, Eloise Hall and Stella Rutherford; brothers: Carl (Sara) Rolin, Ralph Pearson, Ardis (Hazel) Rolin and Marvin (Kim) Rolin; Sister-in-law: Arlene Brown; brother-in-law: James "Red" (Charlene) Weaver and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Lee Rolin and sister Charlene Weaver.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M., Saturday, May 4th at the Whole Life Church, 1420 E. Chicago Rd. in Sturgis where funeral services celebrating the life of Pedrow Rolin will immediately follow the visitation at 1:00 P.M. The Rev. Charles Vizthum will officiate. A graveside committal will follow the service at Fry Cemetery in rural Bronson on Sielkens Rd. A luncheon at Whole Life Church will follow the graveside committal.
The Hackman Family Funeral Homes of Sturgis is entrusted with the arrangements.
In honoring Pedrow's love of his church memorial donations would be appreciated to the Whole Life Church, 1420 E. Chicago Rd., Sturgis, MI 49091.
