Peg Stock, of Montevideo, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Clarkfield Care Center at the age of 74.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Anderson – TeBeest Funeral Home in Montevideo. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Peggy Louise Stock was born in Tracy, MN on October 11, 1951 to Elmer and Donna (Wreath) Weedman. She was baptized December 30th, 1951 and confirmed at the Presbyterian Church in Milroy, MN. She attended high school at Tracy-Milroy High School graduating in 1969.

Peg resided in Marshall and Granite Falls before settling in Montevideo where she had an in-home daycare raising her own kids and others in town. Once the kids were grown, she shifted to work outside the home where she took a housekeeping position at Luther Haven Nursing Home and was employed there for over 20 years. She really enjoyed visiting and making connections with the residents there. She enjoyed touring historic houses, learning about Native American History, reading, listening to music, completing word-find puzzles, and watching reruns of classic TV shows. Andy Griffith was her favorite with Barney Fife being her absolute favorite TV character. Spending time with her family and friends always held a very special place in her heart.

Peg is survived by her children, Jennifer (Wayne) Panning of Sioux Falls, SD, Christy (Jason) Stock of Montevideo, and Jeremy (Amy) Stock of Woodbury, MN; six grandchildren, Dylan Stock, Kaylee Steckley, J.T. Panning, Landon Stock, Tanner Johnson, and Sasha Stock; siblings: Dick (Sandra) Weedman of Lamberton, MN, David (Joanne) Weedman of Middlebury, VT, Todd (Sandy) Weedman of Salisbury, VT, and Pat Marks of Tracy, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Chad Stock; and siblings, Earl Weedman and Diane Weedman.
