Peggie A. Brock, 85, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 11:40 am, Monday, April 22, 2024, at her home. She was born on July 21, 1938, in New Martinsville, West Virginia, to Hoye and Rebecca (Shephard) Huffman.
Peggie married Chris I. "Bud" Brock on July 17, 1970 at Niagara Falls; he died March 27, 1998. She worked as a waitress for Ponderosa in Wabash more than 10 years. Peggie was a member of the Christian Heritage Church in Wabash. She loved her grandkids and church family, and enjoyed garage sales, craft shows, and jewelry.
She is survived by six children, Jeannie McDonald of Wabash, Debra (William) VanCamp of Lafontaine, Indiana, Penny (Marcus) Barnett, Tim White, and Michael White, all of Wabash, and Pamela Rose of Avon, Indiana; 16 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; two sisters, Sandra Cheremata of Cleveland, Ohio, and Darlene Brooks of Palmer, Tennessee; and her twin brothers, Fred Huffman of Jacksonville, Florida, and Ted (JoAnn) Huffman of Cleveland, Ohio. She was also preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Benjamin White, and her son-in-law, Jay McDonald.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Christian Heritage Church, 2776 River Road, Wabash, with Pastor Tim Prater officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 4-8 pm Friday, April 26, 2024, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash.
Preferred memorial is Christian Heritage Church.
