Memorial graveside services for Peggy Jo McCullin Goulart Pitts Albritton, age 88 of Ruston, La will be held by the family at a later date at Cook Cemetery.
Peggy was born Oct 4, 1935 in Simsboro, La to Clyde and Gracie Hanna McCullin and passed away October 12, 2023 in Cheniere, La after a lengthy illness. Peggy attended school and acquired her LPN nursing license in Ruston. She worked at Lincoln General Hospital and several other nursing jobs as well as Follette Pottery in Ruston before retiring. Peggy was very proficient at cooking, canning and organization as well as the art of shopping on Amazon. Peggy loved caring for others and her favorite pastime was a game of chance with the one armed bandit.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Marie Cole and Delene Kilpatrick; husbands Joe Goulart, father of Robert, Kenneth, Richard and Timothy; Harry "Bill" Pitts, father of Ben; Clyde "Buddy"Albritton and her son Timothy Goulart.
Peggy is survived by four sons: Robert Goulart and wife Linda of Ruston, Kenneth Goulart and wife Naomi of Cheniere, Richard Goulart and wife Jill of Ruston and Ben Pitts and wife Sherry of Bastrop; Ten grand-children, Heather Taylor, Brent Goulart, Jennifer Goulart, Jessica Goulart Strother, Gabriel Goulart, Claire, Sam, Caroline, Lauren and Lily Pitts. One great grand son, Brooks Strother and two great grand daughters, Skye Goulart and Bailee Taylor Berthet and husband Jacob and one great great grand son, Lennon Berthet. One cat, Bonnie and one spoiled rotten dog, Sam. And a host of other family and many friends.
