Peggy Baker Obituary
Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Peggy Jean Adams Baker, age 75, of Miller Road, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. Funeral Services will be held 12:00PM-Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks, NC. Officiating will be Pastor Eddie White. Burial will follow in Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery in Four Oaks, NC.
Mrs. Baker was born on January 7, 1948 in Johnston County to the late Albert Green and Helen King Adams. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donzie Wayne Adams; grandson, Linwood Reid Martin. Mrs. Baker was in manufacturing prior to her retirement. Peggy loved to listen to her gospel music and play with her dachshund, Buddy.
Surviving include her husband, Norwood H. Baker; children, Cindy Adams and wife, Genevieve Lovette, Loretta Baker, Melissa Guin, and Daniel Baker and wife, Amanda; eight grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; sister, Judy Lee.
The family will receive friends 6:00PM-8:00PM, Friday, January 13, 2023 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home of Melissa Guin at 1970 Elevation Rd. Four Oaks NC 27524.
