Peggy Paris Donehoo, age 93 of Roswell passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025 with her four children and two of her grandchildren by her side. Peggy was baptized at Grant Park Baptist Church in Atlanta, and was an active member of First Baptist Church of Roswell for many years. She attended Girl's High School in Atlanta.
She was preceded in death by parents, Horace and Eddie Ruth Paris, husband, John Donehoo, sister, LaRue McHugh. Peggy is survived by her children, Paris Donehoo of Mount Prospect, IL, Pam Beard of Maryville, TN, Joy Guillebeau of Auburn, GA, Timothy Donehoo of Roswell, GA, 8 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren, and hundreds of people who knew her and loved her and called her "Bunna."
A funeral service will be held on May 28 at 11am in the Donehoo Chapel of Roswell First Baptist Church, 710 Mimosa Blvd., Roswell. A private family interment will be held on Thursday at Green Lawn Cemetery, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell. The family will be receiving friends on May 27 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Northside Chapel, 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Peggy's honor to Breakthrough T1D.
