Goldsboro - Peggy "Susie" Musgrave Edmundson, age 72, passed away peacefully on August 31, 2025, at UNC Wayne Hospital in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
Born on February 5, 1953, in Cumberland County, North Carolina, Susie was the beloved daughter of the late Hector and Hazel Musgrave. She spent her life grounded in the values of hard work, kindness, and quiet devotion to those she loved.
Susie worked in the manufacturing industry for many years, where her strong work ethic and reliability were admired by colleagues. Outside of work, she found great joy in life's simple pleasures, tending to her flower garden, caring for her beloved cats, and spending time with her family. She had a gentle spirit and a tender heart, always putting the needs of her family and friends before her own.
She is survived by her son, Bryan Ellis; her brother, Al Musgrave; cousins, Deborah Marm and Phyllis Edmundson; and dear friends, Lori Farmer and Phyllis Sasser.
In addition to her parents, Susie was preceded in death by her sister, Robyn Sexstella.
Susie will be remembered for her quiet strength, her love of nature, and the warmth she brought to those fortunate enough to know her.
A private memorial will be held by the family at a later date.
