Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of Walter Scott and the late Thelma S. (Mosher) Scott.
Peggy loved her children more than anything, which was especially shown through her generosity during the Christmas season. She also loved the warm weather, spending time at the beach, gardening, and sunbathing.
She is survived by her children, Vanessa J. Rewers and her husband Ryne of Danielson, CT, Kayla Gerard and her companion Jordan Parker of North Providence and Michael Gerard of Providence; a brother, Butch Scott of Coventry; a sister, Deborah Botelho of Warwick; her beloved cat Kitty and her fur grandbabies, Maya, Lola and Romo.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 19, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Carpenter-Jenks Funeral Home, 659 East Greenwich Avenue, West Warwick, RI. Burial will be private for the family.
Please come dressed festive to join us for our last Christmas celebration with our mom.
