Peggy Jo Greathouse

Peggy Jo Hall Greathouse, age 82, of Topmost, KY, widow of Jackie M. Greathouse, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025 at her residence. She was born March 18, 1943 in Floyd County, KY, a daughter of the late Arthur and Norma Collins Hall. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons; James Arthur Greathouse, Richmond, KY and Jimmy DeWayne Greathouse, Lexington, KY, one daughter; Tammy (Van) Hylton, Topmost, KY, one granddaughter; Hillary Greathouse, extended family; Jennifer Cox and Justin Little and family, special nephew Elvis Greathouse, a host of nieces and nephews. And she was loved by many.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by three brothers; Forrest, Phillip and George Hall, one sister; Barbara Ross.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at the Providence Old Regular Baptist Church, Topmost, KY, with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Mountain Memory Gardens, Hindman, KY, visitation is after 5 p.m. Thursday and all day Friday at the church, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
