Robert Ramsely "Randy" Ratliff

Robert "Randy" Ramsely Ratliff, age 73 of Honaker, KY, husband of Betty Ann Elliott Ratliff, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026 at his residence. He was born November 23, 1952 in Blackstone, VA, a son of the late James Edward Tawney and Mary Ratliff Blevins. He was a member of the Church of Christ, a United States Navy Veteran, a retired coal miner, logger, construction worker and self employed businessman.

Along with his wife, he is survived by three sons: Robert Randy Ratliff (Rebecca), Yulee, Kansas, Randall Ray Ratliff, Honaker, KY and Raymond Don Ratliff (Heather), Honaker, KY; one daughter: Melina Ann Bentley (Jody), Grethel, KY;four brothers: Tony Ratliff, Honaker, KY, Paul Patrick Blevins, Hollywood, FL, Darrell Blevins and Larry Blevins, both of Columbus, OH; two sisters: Margaret Tackett, Printer, KY and Linda Lynn Burnap (Tom), Columbus, OH; twelve grandchildren: Breanna, Deven, Ramey, Alexis, Cody, Blake, Seth, Jasmine, Amanda, Sophia, Jacob, Kagan and thirteen great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers: David Ratliff, James Jeffrey Blevins, Kenneth Glen Blevins and Joy Jay Blevins.

Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY with Church of Christ Ministers officiating with burial to follow in the Ratliff Family Cemetery, Honaker, KY. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Monday at Hall Funeral Home.
