Peggy Gooch, 83, of Madison, VA, passed away, Tuesday, December 2, 2025 in Hobbsville, NC.
Peggy was born in Washington DC, on October 15, 1942, and was the daughter of the late Joseph Sylvester Halsey and granddaughter to Dorothy Weakley.
Peggy is preceded in death by her first husband, Jimmy Twyman and second husband, Bascom Beverly Gooch.
Peggy is survived by her very special friend, Charlie Hobbs; daughter, Melody Corbin (Aric) of Madison, VA; son James (Jim) Twyman (Becky) of Madison, VA; grandchildren, Victoria Byram (Roland), Sabrina Byram, McKenna Corbin, Shyanne Corbin (Drew), Julie Twyman (Chris), Ashley Lewis (Damon), Kenny Lewis (Adrian), and Amanda (David); 9 great-grandchildren; her “adopted’ family of Hobbsville, NC
