Peggy Jane Jarett

Peggy Jane Jarett, 73, of Springfield, Missouri, passed from this life July 10, 2023. She was born September 28, 1949, in San Pedro, California, to Kenneth Victor and Betty Jane (Grimm) Jarett.
In 1967, Peggy graduated from Field Kindley High School in Coffeyville, Kansas. During her career, Peggy worked for Litton Systems and later for Springfield Remanufacturing Co., both in Springfield, Missouri.
An avid animal lover, Peggy enjoyed camping, fishing, attending rodeos, dancing, and cheering for the Kansas City Chiefs.
She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Jarett; her mother, Betty Peterson; step-father, Pete Peterson; and two brothers, W. Edward Jarett and Victor Jarett.
Peggy is survived by her sister, Debra Davis and her husband, Bill, of Coffeyville, Kansas; sisters-in-law, Marla Jarett of Carthage, Missouri, and Kim Jarett of Overland Park, Kansas; several nieces, nephews; and friends in the Springfield area.
No formal services are planned. However, a future gathering may be scheduled at a later date.
