Peggy Duncan Jeens, 88, of Decatur passed from this earth Monday, June 2nd, 2025.
Celebration of Life will be at a future date.
Peggy was born December 8th, 1936 to Edward and Hazel (Avery) Duncan in Oxford, North Carolina. She was united July 15th, 1967 to Charles George Jeens in Fairborn, Ohio; married happily for 31 years before his passing. Peggy was a retired teacher after many years in the education industry in Virginia. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend to many who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Hazel Duncan, and her husband, George Jeens.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Libby Severance and husband Andy of Decatur; a grandchild, Duncan Severance of Decatur; extended family and a host of friends.
