Peggy Jeffers Obituary
Peggy Ann Jeffers, age 83 of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at the Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Toledo. Peggy was born to Raymond and Gretta (Howell) Blake on April 2, 1942, in Strasburg, Ohio. Peggy worked as an assistant manager at the Woolworth's in the Woodville Mall for over 25 years.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Dale Jeffers whom she married on July 29, 1998; children, Mary Rose (Tom) Ankney, Karen (John) Erni, Bret (Suzette) Adkins; step-children, Alice Jeffers, Lauren (Frank) Reynolds, and Elizabeth (Brian) Jeffers; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren and one on the way; siblings Ronald Rhon, Clara Montjoy and Ray (Beverly) Blake. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Nancy Blake, and brother Junior Blake.
A visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd in Oregon, Ohio, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 2 to 3 p.m., with a funeral service to be held at 3 p.m. A private inurnment will be held at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
