Peggy Jo Kiefer, 79, of Scottsburg, Indiana passed away on July 19, 2025, at Norton Clark Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana with her family by her side. She was born on August 14, 1945, in Seymour, Indiana, to the late Earl Fletcher and Isa (Dailey) Fletcher. Peggy will be remembered for her deep affection for her family. Her love was unconditional, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Peggy also had a fondness for the timeless music of Conway Twitty, which often filled her home and brought smiles to those around her. In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Larry Kiefer; son, Tommy Gene Kiefer; grandson, Isiah Kiefer; great grandson, Lucas Mull; and three brothers, Chett, Arnold, and Joe Fletcher. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Mull of Scottsburg, Indiana; two sons, David (Lucinda) Kiefer and Jesse (Rosemary) Kiefer both of Scottsburg, Indiana; one sister, Nina (Buck) Harris; five grandchildren, Andrew Mull, Symphony and Destiny Kiefer, Ashley Kiefer, and Andrea Bowers; and two great grandchildren, Logan Ervin Mull and Conner Mull. Funeral Service for Peggy will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 1:00pm at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg, Indiana. Visitation will be prior to the service on Thursday, starting at 11:00am until 1:00pm at Collins Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Scottsburg Cemetery, in Scottsburg, Indiana.
