Peggy Lea Klang Sherrill

Peggy Sherrill, 73, of Todd, North Carolina passed away peacefully on Saturday April 26, 2025 at Forest Ridge Memory Care.
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma she was the daughter of the late Robert and Faye Klang. She was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Klang.
Peggy is lovingly remembered by her children: Brooks Sherrill, Leslie Zito and her husband Phil, Stefanie Wittenberg and her husband Jimmy, her former husband Richard Sherrill, one sister Bobbie Klang and her niece Angela. Peggy has four grandchildren who she loved very much: Broxton, Ridley, Sean and Luke. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Nancy Holden, Joanne Stoy and brother-in-law John Sherrill and his wife, Cammy.
Peggy was known for always sharing a smile and for her dedication and caring for others before herself. Peggy was a wonderful mother and dearly loved her three kids. They were blessed to gather around her days before her passing. Peggy was Minnie Mouse at Walt Disney World and Mickey Mouse in a national print magazine in the 1970's. Later she taught Kindergarten in Central Florida for many years. She was active in several Central Florida First Baptist churches.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
