Peggy Anne Phillips, 82, Dearing, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on May 12, 2024.
She was born in Augusta, Georgia on July 8, 1941, grew up in Harlem and lived most of her life in Dearing. Peggy was Christian by faith, enjoyed fishing, cooking, her roses, pizza, working as a nurse at Gracewood and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, Alex Phillips, Sr.; her parents, Dave Bone and Georgia Bone; her sons, Dale Perry and Tony Phillips. Her survivors include her sons, Alex Phillips, Jr. (Melissa) and David Perry; her daughter, Lisa Stewart; her sister, Joyce Bone; her grandchildren, Chevy Phillips (Kathryn), Kayla Sparks (Mason), Dustin Phillips, Ritley Phillips, Stormey Phillips, Heather Phillips and Crystal Phillips; her great grandchild, Briggs Phillips and several nieces and nephews.
Her graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Harlem Memorial Cemetery, 310 S. Bell Street, Harlem, Georgia 30814. The Family will receive friends at the graveside following the service. Please visit www.beggsfuneralhome.net to sign the family's personal guestbook.
