Peggy "Margaret" Ropelewski

Lorain – Peggy “Margaret” Ropelewski (nee Stratton), 70, went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 25, 2022. She was born and raised in Lorain, OH where she was a 1969 graduate of Admiral King High School. Peggy then went on to Fairview General Hospital School of Nursing and Lorain County Community College. She was a title clerk at several different car dealerships. Peggy was an avid reader and cherished her time spent with her family.She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Rita (nee Ruebel) Stratton; sister, Donna (Howard) Brust; brother, Jim (Renee) Stratton; and step-son, Mike Ropelewski.She is survived by her husband, Michael Ropelewski; sons, Frank (Nicole) Kovach, Donald (Lisa) Kovach and Daniel (Laura) Kovach; step-children, Bridget Evans and Connie Burman; grandchildren, Amber, Sean, Emily, Sienna, Landon, Noah, Corbin, Colette, and Carina Kovach; Step-grandchildren, John (Kate) Burman, Kathy Ropelewski, and Jennifer, Jessica, and Jason Evans.The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH on Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM. Private inurnment services will be held at a later date at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family request’s donations to be made in Peggy’s name to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
