Peggy Smith Obituary
Peggy Smith, age 90, of Jenkintown, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Artman Lutheran Home in Ambler, PA. Born in Lairdsville, PA, on February 19, 1935, Peggy was the cherished daughter of the late Anna (Fornwald) and Millard B. Smith.
Peggy’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was the loving mother of Bonnie Benson (the late Edward), Vicki (Robert) Polizzano, Kim Serianni (George Howlett), and the late Carl Klotzbach Jr. She leaves behind her adored grandchildren Beau Benson, Bob (Erin) Polizzano Jr., Kristi Polizzano (Craig) Stanton, Caitlin Klotzbach (Joe) Glenn, Eric (Amy) Benson, Edward Benson Jr., and Louie Serianni (Jordann Stingo), as well as her beloved great-grandchildren Laney Benson, Sanne Benson, and Brooks and Reece Polizzano. Nothing brought Peggy more happiness than watching her family grow, celebrate, and simply be together.
Peggy was a source of warmth, kindness, and steady support to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She spent many dedicated years as an Office Manager in a dental office, where her compassion, reliability, and gentle spirit touched countless lives. Her coworkers became friends, and the community she served always felt her genuine care.
Those who knew Peggy will remember her warm smile, her generous heart, and the way she made people feel welcomed and loved. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion, resilience, and quiet strength—qualities that will continue to live on in those she loved.
Family and friends are invited to gather for her visitation on Thursday, December 4th, 2025 from 10–11 AM, followed by her religious service at 11 AM, both at Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home, 507 West Ave., Jenkintown, PA 19046. Interment will follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Ambler, PA.
