Peggy Travis Obituary

Peggy Ann Travis, a radiant spirit whose presence illuminated the lives of many, departed this world on October 21, 2024, just a day shy of her sixty-ninth birthday. Born on October 22, 1955, Peggy was a celebration of life, her bubbly personality and infectious laughter creating an atmosphere of joy for all fortunate to cross her path.

Throughout her life, Peggy nurtured a profound love for animals, especially her cats.  She enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with her loved ones. Her fun loving spirit will be greatly missed by many.

She leaves behind her beloved daughters, Stacie (Theresa Smith) and Ariana Travis, who will carry forth her spirit and warmth in their hearts. Also mourning her departure is her brother Kirk Williams, along with his wife Anne, and many  family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Peggy's parents, Charles and Delores Williams, and her devoted husband, Thomas Tretter, preceded her in death, joining her in the embrace of eternity.

Visitation to celebrate the life of Peggy Ann Travis will take place on Saturday November 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Floral Hills Funeral Home - Chapel A, located at 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road in Taylor Mill, Kentucky. Following the visitation, a private burial service will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens at 12:00PM, providing a serene setting to honor and remember her profound impact on all who knew her.

In this time of reflection and remembrance, let us hold close the laughter and light that Peggy generously shared throughout her life. Though she has transitioned into another realm, her spirit will forever resonate in the hearts of those she loved. Floral Hills is honored to serve the family.
