Peggy Jeanne Urick, 59, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 28, 2025. She was born on February 8, 1966, to Roberta (Bowser) Urick and the late Charles Urick.

Peggy was an animal lover through and through. Over the years she professionally groomed and bred St. Bernards and Persian cats, and she treated every animal that crossed her path like family. Her own St. Bernard, PeeWee, who preceded her in passing, was like her other son and one of her greatest companions. Peggy loved dressing up her dogs, much to the amusement of everyone around her.

She enjoyed crafting of all kinds—sewing, cross-stitch, and quilting were among her favorites. Plants filled her home, and she cared for them with the same attention she gave everything else. Peggy was also a devoted General Hospital watcher; she never missed an episode and could catch you up on every storyline.

Peggy was never afraid to speak her mind. She had a strong personality, but she loved deeply—especially when it came to her family. She was a devoted grandmother who loved her grandchildren dearly.

Peggy is survived by her son, Todd (Megan) Urick; her grandchildren, Breauna, Devin, Breyden, Kyler, and Axyl; her siblings, Jerry Urick and Charles Urick; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in passing by her father, Charles Urick; the father of her son, Monte; and her beloved St. Bernard, PeeWee.
