Peggy grew up in Edenwold, Tennessee, and from a young age, exhibited a spirit of resilience and determination. Her life was a blend of hard work, dedication, and simple pleasures. Peggy had a deep love for fishing, whether it was casting a line from a boat or enjoying the serene banks of Old Hickory Lake. This passion for fishing was more than just a hobby; it was a reflection of her appreciation for life’s quiet moments and her connection to nature.
Peggy’s love for family was the cornerstone of her life. She was inseparable from her sister Lucy, and together, they shared countless memories and joys. Peggy was the heart of her family gatherings, hosting memorable Thanksgiving and Christmases with warmth and generosity. Her home was a place where family and friends could come together, celebrate, and create cherished memories.
One of the highlights of Peggy’s life was the surprise birthday party we threw for her. Seeing her joy was a beautiful reminder of her vibrant spirit and the love she had for those around her.
Peggy’s legacy is not just in the milestones she achieved but in the countless lives she touched with her kindness, her unwavering support, and her boundless love. She leaves behind a family that will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
May Peggy Joyce Ward rest in peace, and may her memory be a guiding light for all of us who were fortunate enough to know and love her. She will be forever missed, but her legacy will live on in the stories we share, the love we carry, and the lessons she taught us through her life.
