Peggy Younkman Obituary
Peggy was born August 12, 1951, in Hempstead, New York to the late William and Mary (Stiber) Price. She grew up in Long Island and Manhattan, and later graduated from Fort Wayne, Indiana's North Side High School. She received her degree in Computer Programming from Indiana University, and her Nursing degree from New York University.
Peggy moved to Summerville, South Carolina with her husband where they resided for 18 years before moving to Punta Gorda, Florida in 2004. She was a retired critical care registered nurse. She poured her heart and soul into caring for patients and had a gift and passion for caring for others.
She was an avid gardener, loved to travel, and loved spending time with her family and dogs. She was a beautiful light in this world bringing happiness, positivity, and a smile everywhere she went. She was an incredible wife, mother, sister, daughter, and friend who will be deeply missed forever.
Peggy is pre-deceased by her loving in-laws Mary Kay (November 2022) and Nolan Rolf (December 2017) Younkman.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Dale Younkman of Punta Gorda; her daughter, Dr. Ashley Reynolds of Punta Gorda; her son-in-law Matthew Reynolds of Punta Gorda; her sister-in-law, Leslie Price (late brother William Price) of Dennis, Massachusetts; her brother, Frank Raimondo of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and her sister, Carla Raimondo of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Funeral services celebrating Peggy's life, her kind and generous heart, and devotion to her family and God will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Roberson Funeral Home Chapel, 2151 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, Florida 33948.
Private entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
