Peng Chin "Benny" Ng

Peng Chin Ng, known as Benny, passed away on March 28, 2024, in Houston, Texas at the age of 62. He brought warmth and joy to the Houston community for over 44 years.
Benny completed high school in Malaysia and pursued further education in various fields in the United States, showcasing his adventurous spirit. He met Juanita during his studies and their love lasted over 30 years, bringing him a sense of belonging far from home. Although they didn't have children, Benny's love extended to his nieces, nephews, and furry companions, reflecting his nurturing nature and commitment to family.
Benny was a passionate supporter of the Houston Rockets, Astros and Texans, reflecting his strong ties to the community. His love for laughter and light-hearted moments endeared him to many, despite his reserved nature. He valued companionship and preferred a relaxed peace in life, enjoying travel with his wife and occasional hikes.
Benny is survived by his loving wife, Juanita; siblings, nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends and colleagues.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. in the Miller Funeral Chapel, 7723 Beechnut, Houston, TX 77074.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 10330 Hillcroft St., Houston, TX 77096 with a reception to follow. Interment will take place at 2:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery, 1101 Antoine Dr., Houston, TX 77055.
