Pennie Lansdell passed away Monday, August 11, 2025, at her home.

She was born December 21, 1969, to Vic Hooper and Kathy Gonzales in Texarkana, Texas. Pennie worked as Food Service Director and bus driver for the Foreman School District before having to go on disability in 2018.

She loved her dogs, Hooch, Bossco, and Ofi; she loved to shop and spent time with family. She loved to watch her son, Landon, trap shoot and all of her trap kids.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy Gonzales; husbands, David Baker and Curtis Dale Lansdell, Jr., and her mother-in-law, Laurenza Jones Lansdell.

She is survived by one son, Landon Lansdell of Foreman; her dad and step-mother, Vic and Jeanette Hooper of Cresent, Oklahoma; one brother and sister-in-law, James and Lori Hooper of Edmond, Oklahoma; step-sister, Codie Seitz and step brother, Mike Bartlett; nephews, Michael and (Amanda) Hooper and Cody and (Becka) Hooper, Bowen Harris, nieces, Tessa Hooper, Carsyn Harris and Reese Harris; two great-nephews, Brayden Hooper and Liam Hooper; a special friend, Sonja Smith and niece and nephew, Kaitlyn and Kaleb Smith.

Funeral services for Mrs. Pennie will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 17, 2025, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in De Queen with Bro. Steve Minter officiating. Burial will follow at Alleene Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the funeral home in De Queen.
