Penny M. Parker, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at her home. She was born in Macon, Georgia on April 27, 1960 to Willie Joe Parker and Grace Coleman Bryant. She spent most of her life in Warner Robins, Georgia and currently, she had made her home in Jonesboro, Georgia. She graduated from Northside High School in 1978. She worked as a regional manager for Walmart photo centers until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family on special occasions, going out to eat with friends and relatives, visiting antique shops and going to arts and crafts fairs with her twin sister, Pam. She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Joanne Rushing.
She is survived by her twin sister, Pam (Randy) Hinson of Perry, Georgia; her nieces and nephews, Coleman (Cydney) Hinson of Kathleen, Georgia, Robby (Megan) Hinson of Byron, Georgia, Joey (Lacey) Hinson of Perry, Georgia, Sean Hutchinson of Reidsville, Georgia, Chuck (Marie) Hutchinson of Scottsdale, Arizona and Robin Murphy of Reidsville. Great nieces and nephews, Caroline Hinson, Grady Hinson, Hadley Hinson (on the way), Damien Gridley, Zoe Scudder, Esme Murphy and Zephrin Hutchinson.
Family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm on Sunday, October 20, 2024 with funeral services to follow at 2:00pm from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with Dr. Charles Jonas officiating. Interment will be in the Reidsville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Coleman Hinson, Robby Hinson, Joey Hinson, Sean Hutchinson, Damien Gridley and Chuck Hutchinson.
