Penny Lynn Zilewicz (née Wurster), affectionately known as "Pen," passed away unexpectedly on January 29, 2025, in Bethel Heights, Arkansas, at the age of 78. Born on August 27, 1946, at Roseland Community Hospital in Chicago, Illinois, Penny lived a life marked by dedication to her family and a passion for her career.

Penny was the daughter of Robert G. Wurster, Sr. and Beatrice A. Wurster. She grew up alongside her siblings Barry Wurster, Linda Baker, Tom Wurster, and Bonnie Wurster (Kevin Pompey). On April 24, 1964, Penny married Ed Zilewicz. Together, they raised two children they were extremely proud of: Susan Lavey and Edward Zilewicz, Jr. Sue and her husband, Steve Lavey, have four children-Patrick Lavey, Katie Lavey, Benjamin Lavey, and Ryan Lavey. Ed has three children-Zaniel Zilewicz, Raine Gula, and Edward Paul Zilewicz III. All of which she loved very much.

Penny built a successful career in real estate in Champaign, Illinois. She began her journey at Devonshire Realty and quickly became known for her dedication to both her clients and colleagues. She found great joy in the personal connections she made through her work and had an innate ability to get along with everyone she met.
