Percy L. Eggleston

Mr. Percy L. Eggleston was born December 18, 1945, to the late George Eggleston, Sr. and Sadie L. Eggleston in Colbert County Alabama. Percy departed this life on October 3rd, in Huntsville, Alabama.
As a young man Percy was a member of Mt. Pleasant M. B. Church and later became a member of Bethel Colbert M.B. Church in Leighton, Alabama, where he was a faithful member until his death.
Percy was known for his unwavering work ethic and love for his family and community. He lived by the belief that "a job worth doing is a job worth doing well," a principal reflected in the care he took detailing his automobiles, maintaining his property, and perfecting every home improvement project. Percy was a dedicated employee of Reynolds Metal Company and officially retired from Wise Alloy in 2006.
Percy was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Joyce Ann Bates Eggleston, brothers, Leroy Eggleston, Leon Eggleston, Carl Eggleston, George Eggleston, Jr. and Willie T. Eggleston.
