Perquida May Anderson, 64, of Staunton and formerly of Highland County, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 1990 at her home.
She was born December 8, 1924 in Bath County, a daughter of Herman and Secil (Wright) Wilson.
She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and attended Community United Methodist Church at Cedar Green. She had been employed by Western State Hospital for 20 years.
Surviving are a son, Donald Monroe Anderson of Staunton; a brother Thurman "Fuzz" Wilson of Staunton; grandchildren, Jay and Benita Anderson, both of Staunton.
A service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Community United Methodist Church by the Revs. R.E. Monroe and Eicky Woodson, with burial at Fairview Cemetery.
The body will be placed in the church two hours prior to the service.
Pallbearers will Carl, Earl, Lewis, Ralph and Charlie Wilson, Genie Vaughs and Curtis Smith.
