Deacon Perry "Chip" Carter, 62, husband of Pastor Eartha Bennett Carter died Thursday, January 29, 2026 in Sumter, SC. He was born November 17,1963 in Manning, SC. A son of Annie Bell Carter and the late James "Jimmy" Allen Carter.
Public viewing will be held 2PM til 6PM Thuursday February 5, 2026, Hayes F. Samuels, Sr., Memorial Chapel, 114 North Church St. Manning, SC.
Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 6, 2026, Prayer House Mission Church, 1075 Bald Egle Rd., Summerton, SC. Burial will follow in the Carter cemetery.
The family is receiving friends at his residence, 2602 L & H Pearson Road, Manning, SC.
