Perry Stephen Cox, 64, of Reidsville, went to be with His Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at his home.
A celebration of his life will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Wilkerson Funeral Home will be conducted by Thomas Simpson. There will be a private burial after the service. The family will receive friends at the home, (1127 Harrison Crossroad Loop).
Perry was born October 13, 1958, in Rockingham County. He graduated fromWentworth High School in 1976 and spent many years working in the health care field before he retired. He was a Christian and spent much of his time reading the Word of God. He also enjoyed antiquing, gardening and spending time with his family, especially his great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Cox, Jr., and his brother Robert Lee “R.L.” Cox, III.
He is survived by his mother Loretta Simpson Cox; sister Jessica Merritt (Larry); his nephews Wade Merritt (Kristi), and Robert Cox, IV and nieces Melanie Corum (Shawn) and Danielle Stanley (Bo); and many great nieces and nephews.
