Perry W. Gross, a devoted and vibrant individual, passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 61. Born on December 1, 1963, Perry led a life characterized by his loving sarcasm and caring nature, traits that endeared him to all who knew him. He known for his ornery spirit, his fun-loving demeanor, and his ability to light up any gathering; Perry truly was the life of the party.
Perry's passion for life was reflected in his many hobbies and interests. He enjoyed traveling and exploring new places, relishing each adventure. Music was another great love of his, providing a soundtrack to the cherished moments he spent with family and friends. Perry was particularly fond of spending time with his dog, Coco, who was a constant companion by his side, sharing countless joyful moments.
He leaves behind his longtime partner, Donna Melvin, with whom he shared a deep bond. His legacy continues through his daughter, Farrah (Scott Jr.) Youngerman, and his grandchildren, Jeremy Youngerman and Cheyanne Youngerman. Perry also took great pride in being a great-grandfather to Laine Youngerman, Kaison Horn, and Weston Youngerman, who brought him immense joy.
Perry is survived by his brother, Wayne (Lynn) Gross, along with many family members and friends who will remember him for his warmth, humor, and vibrant personality. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Eva Gross, as well as his sister, Sherry Gross, and his brother, Bobby Gross.
Perry W. Gross’s spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be dearly missed but fondly remembered for his infectious laughter, adventurous spirit, and the love he so freely gave to those around him.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery, 1625 Calvary Ave.
