Perry Holivy Hilliard

HENDERSON – Perry Holivy Hilliard, 96, of Henderson, passed away Thursday, September 25, 2025. Born March 7, 1929 in Warren County he was the son of the late Alma Lucille Hilliard and Charlie White Hilliard, and widower of the late Mildred Lucy Lynch Hilliard

Perry was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, a Superintendent for the North Carolina Department of Corrections and he was a member of the Henderson Masonic Lodge # 229 AF & AM.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, September 28, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the J.M. White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Johnny Yount. The family will receive friends Sunday September 28, 2025, at J. M. White Funeral Home from 1:00 until 2:00 PM

Perry is survived by two sons, Charlie Perry Hilliard and wife Becky W. Hilliard of Raleigh, and Lawrence Wayne Hilliard of Raleigh; two grandchildren, Matthew Hilliard and wife Karyl Hilliard and Whitney Hilliard; two great-grandchildren, Nolan Hilliard, and Ella Hilliard; one sister, Joyce Hilliard Carroll of Macon; two brothers, Gilbert Hilliard and Warren Pete Hilliard both of Macon.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Lucille Haithcock, Myrtle Jean Mosheim and Loraine Maynard; five brothers, Willard Hilliard, Henry Hilliard, Mack Hilliard, Ralph Hilliard, and Albert Hilliard.
