Perry Martin, born on August 7, 1960, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 10, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Perry was married to his high school sweetheart, Cheryl Diane Jolley, on August 11, 1979, in Millbourne, Pennsylvania. Their enduring love was frequently mentioned as one of his proudest accomplishments, alongside the joy he felt for their two sons, Gabe and Perry.

Perry had a distinguished career in the Junction City and Manhattan area in the automobile industry for over 30 years. Most notably, he excelled at Briggs Auto Group in Manhattan, where his talent for connecting with customers shined. His honest and easy going personality, and sociable demeanor made him a favorite among both customers and colleagues.

In addition to his professional achievements, Perry was a devoted family man who cherished the moments spent with loved ones. He enjoyed playing basketball, often ensuring that his sons wouldn’t get the upper hand throughout their childhood. Fishing trips to Milford Lake provided opportunities for bonding and relaxation, while family day trips to amusement parks were filled with laughter and cherished memories. Perry was known for his charming personality and his generous spirit, always ready with a smile, or time to just talk, embodying the essence of "Philly brotherly love." He was a devoted grandfather who took every opportunity to support his family and their accomplishments.

Perry’s dedication extended beyond his family. He served his country honorably in the United States Army from 1978 to 1981 as a Material Supply Specialist, a commitment that highlights his hardworking nature and sense of duty.

Perry and Cheryl found home and comfort in their church community at Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church. They faithfully attended weekly services and bible study sessions. Their friendships and relationships extended past their church family to include the local communities of Junction City and Manhattan where they were well-known and loved.

A Philadelphia Eagles and K-State Wildcats fan, he was a supporter of their teamwork. He also cherished visiting Branson to enjoy Christian plays and productions with his love.

Perry is survived by his two sons, Gabe (Ellen) Martin and Perry Martin; grandsons, Wesley, Reese, Blake, and Mackenlei; brothers, Daniel Martin, Augustis Martin, and Timothy Martin; and sisters, Veronica Pollard, Rozella Martin, Marjorie Gilbert, and Elizabeth Martin.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Martin; brother, Joseph Martin; and sister, Mary Gay.

A visitation will take place on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Johnson & Mass-Hinitt Funeral Home in Junction City, Kansas. A funeral service to honor Perry and Cheryl will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 10:30 AM at Faith Tabernacle Apostolic Church, 1010 Burke Drive, Junction City, Kansas. Perry will be laid to rest with a graveside service with military honors at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery in Manhattan, Kansas, on November 25, 2025, at 1:00 PM.

Perry Martin will be remembered for his warmth, laughter, and the love he shared so freely with his family and friends. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
