Perry Addison Pace, 92, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023 in College Station, Texas.
Perry was born December 14, 1930 in Livingston, Texas to John and Laura Sanders. He attended Klein High School in Spring, Tx. His belief and trust in the Lord Jesus was very important to him. He was a faithful and beloved member of Brenham Church of Christ for many years.
Perry had several jobs throughout his life, one of them being the proud owner of Westbury Yamaha, a motorcycle dealership. He retired from Ft. Bend Independent School District in the late 1980's. Among his favorite interests and hobbies were: cars, motorcycles, singing and playing the guitar, playing dominoes with friends and being with his family. His greatest love was his wife of 70 years, Claudia Alexander Pace.
He was known for playing his guitar and singing western ballads & hymns and for his yodeling. He performed at many small town opries through the years. His rendition of "How Great Thou Art" was very impressive.
Perry is survived by his son, Glenn Pace and wife, Anne of Bowie, Tx., daughter, Carol Rios and husband, Tom of Spring, Tx. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 11 great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be at the church, prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, 2023. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at Brenham Church of Christ. Burial will be at Prairie Lea Cemetery.
