ELIZABETHTON - After a brief battle with cancer, Pete Doriot, 61, of Elizabethton, passed away peacefully at his home on June 3rd, 2023. He was born January 11th, 1962 in Elizabethton to the late Henri and Margaret Doriot. During his education, Pete earned multiple degrees from ETSU, first in History and then later, after finding his calling, Nursing. His greatest love in life was his family, followed closely after by music and friends. In addition to his parents, Pete is preceded in death by his sons Sam and Gus Doriot, and his siblings JoHannah and Henri "Butch" Doriot.
Pete is survived by the love of his life Jenny Doriot, his proudest accomplishments, his children, Nik Doriot, Isabelle Doriot, and Jake (Katie) Doriot, his upcoming first grandchild, his siblings Elizabeth Doriot and Phil (Lisa) Doriot, his mother and father-in-law John and Lockee Johnson, and his nieces and nephews including Laura (Phil) Ketron, Sophie (Jason) Rancier, Blaine Boles, Eric (Leann) Doriot, Matt (Krystal) Hawkins, Aaron Hawkins, and Mimi (John) Dykes.
In lieu of a graveside service a gathering of friends will be held from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Tetrick Funeral Home, 211 North Riverside Drive, Elizabethton, TN.
