Peter M. Archambault

Peter M. Archambault, 72, of Smithfield, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully at his home on January 1, 2026, surrounded by the quiet comfort of a life well lived. Peter was a proud graduate of West Warwick High School, Class of 1971, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 1974, a foundation that would shape both his career and his lifelong passion for building, creating, and innovating.

Peter was the founder of PMA Industries, where he devoted his professional life to the art and precision of integrated event technology and production. Renowned for his expertise in audio, video, and staging, Peter had a rare ability to transform ideas into unforgettable live experiences. Through his work, he brought sound, light, and energy to thousands of cheering audiences, leaving an indelible mark on countless events and the people who attended them.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Peter was an avid automotive enthusiast who delighted in race cars and all things mechanical. Yet, above all, he cherished his close-knit circle of friends, whom he regaled with stories of legendary musicians and iconic moments from a life spent behind the scenes of great music and memorable performances. His stories, like his work, were rich, generous, and full of life.

Peter was the beloved son of Lucille (Archambault) Mastriano and the late Maurice Archambault, and a devoted brother to Maureen (Archambault) Hoffmaster. He will be remembered for his warmth, his technical brilliance, and the joy he brought to those fortunate enough to know him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 10:00am at Ss. John & James & St. Mary Mission Parish, 20 Washington Street, West Warwick. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Warwick.
