When I first worked for Peter, he terrified me, he commanded such respect for a man of small stature! I remember early on stuttering and stammering when asking if I could have a key to the building, so I could come and go a little easier when my kids were young and I was juggling life.
But he was also an example of boundaries - for example, he was really mad at me when he caught me in the office late on a Friday night, a time he thought I should be with my family.
A couple of my favorite memories are from one time we were working together and I said, don´t I get a point for figuring out something and his response was "even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while." Or the time he said there was a democracy in the office, but his was the only vote that counted! We had some good laughs!
I learned so much from him regarding how to do my job and he made me a much better CPA. I use the things he taught me daily and I still use the spreadsheet formats I learned from him.
I saw him mellow over the years, especially as his faith grew. He took hold of his faith with everything he had. I will miss him greatly!

Donna,
I am so sorry to hear about Peter. I have fond memories of you both when we were in high school. I know this is hard, I went through it a few years ago, but take comfort in a life well lived. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Be well,
Lynne Gilpin Campbell
