Peter Beh, a mentor, a teacher, a remarkable lover of nature & all things wild.
His memory & energy will keep me sane for many years to come. We knew each other in our youth in Cold Spring Harbor & he taught me how to overcome my fear of heights. I stood on a rickety water tower for 1/2 hr once a week for 6 months. It worked.

Peter Beh was the most morally solvent person I've ever met in my life. He was hard working & knew what to do, how to do it, and did it. He forced me at a young age to overcome my fear of height. Peter had me stand on a rickety water tower once a week for 45 min to overcome my fear. It worked & I went on to work in the airline business my entire life & enjoyed travel throughout the world with my family of 5.

Peter Beh, words can not describe his insatiable curiosity exceeded only by his love of nature. The only person I ever knew that did everything that was right. He will be sorely missed by climate change activists. He may have been the very first member to combat climate change. And of course I donated a tree in his honor. The Tree Man and a safety zone.

Pete was an icon of Bullman Beach and the surrounding area. He'd put on stunning fireworks shows for the holidays and seasonally built a pirate cabin out on the beach, complete with a Jolly Roger. He was very knowledgeable about the area and vigilant in setting a standard for the community. He once helped me safely install a new phone line and his stoic solitude encouraged me to study individualistic disciplines more deeply. I'm just sorry for my loud music sometimes in the past and I wish his wife all the best.
