Rewatching Everybody Loves Raymond again. I am amazed at what a comedic delivery Peter always had. In my opinion he stole the show. I will be forever grateful for the laughs, and my kids are now watching the show and laughing all over again. I am so sad that 3 of the cast members are now gone, a reminder of how quickly things can change. Rest Easy Peter!

I love watching Everyone Loves Raymond, I can relate to it. I could play the mother. What a show. Frank Barrone, who could play it better. I watch all the reruns and sometimes on different times same day. Peter you gave us such great performances. The whole Barrone family would not be the same without you. Peter,I met you when we were seniors. You were at West Catholic for Boys and I was a student at Hallahan. You were one of the actors in the play "Seventeen" and I was stage mgr/prop mgr. It was always a fun time. He teased the nuns something awful, but they loved him. When I look at my yearbook, you can see how handsome he was with all that beautiful black hair. I regret never writing him, but when I watch ELR. I feel he really never left us. I'm sure he's up in heaven making everyone laugh. Rest in peace Peter.
Fondly,
Jeanmarie, Springfield, Pa.

For Peter...
WEEP NOT FOR ME
Do not weep for me when I no longer dwell among the wonders of the earth; for my larger self is free, and my soul rejoices on the other side of pain...on the other side of darkness.
Do not weep for me, for I am a ray of sunshine that touches your skin, a tropical breeze upon your face, the hush of joy within your heart and the innocence of babes in mothers arms.
I am the hope in a darkened night. And, in your hour of need, I will be there to comfort you. I will share your tears, your joys, your fears, your disappointments and your triumphs.
Do not weep for me, for I am cradled
in the arms of God. I walk with the angels, and hear the music beyond the stars.
Do not weep for me, for I am within you;
I am peace, love, I am a soft wind that caresses the flowers. I am the calm that follows a raging storm. I am an autumns leaf that floats among the garden of God, and I am pure white snow that softly falls upon your hand.
Do not weep for me, for I shall never die, as long as you remember me...
with a smile and a sigh.

My favorite TV moment was when Peter Boyle, along with the cast of Everybody Loves Raymond, were guests on The Actor's Studio. Peter Boyle was asked what he would want to hear when he reached heaven. He answered, "Welcome home." I had always liked Peter Boyle's work; however, this was the moment that I knew I really liked him. I am sad for his passing, but feel blessed to have seen his work and to have seen a glimpse into his true charater. He will be missed.

One of my favorite movies of all time is Young Frankenstein. It is no wonder ELR will always be my favorite television show, too. I have my whole family watching the reruns and dvds I have purchased. It is the best show ever written and the finest of acting. I have never laughed harder than when I am watiching ELR. Friends and family said hey, did you hear the bad news, Peter Boyle died. It is as if we all lost a close friend. Thanks for bringing so much joy and laughter into all of our lives. You will never be forgotten. God Bless You and your family.
