Peter J. Cabrelli, Jr., age 68, of Springfield, PA, formerly of Drexel Hill, PA, sadly passed away on October 10, 2024.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Peter J. Sr. and Helen M. (née Mullen) Cabrelli.
Peter was a resident at the mini campus of Don Guanella at Gula House in Springfield, PA, where he was known for being fun-loving, yet having a feisty temperament. With his deep affection for people and parties, he embraced every moment with enthusiasm, and joined gatherings with warmth and humor. He will always be remembered as a sweet, gentle soul.
Peter had a special fondness for western TV shows, particularly “Bonanza” and enjoyed western films as well. In addition to his love for entertainment, Peter was a music enthusiast, embracing the soulful sounds of Motown from the 1960s and 70s. The musical era held a special place in his heart. His vibrant spirit also extended to sports; he was a dedicated fan of college football and a devoted supporter of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Peter is survived by his loving sisters, Regina Bruno (Peter), Andrea Burns (Francis), and Joanne Cabrelli (Margaret Moran); his cherished niece, Stephanie Bruno Dowling; nephews, Dr. Christopher P. Bruno (Melissa) and Kyle P. Burns; great-nieces and great-nephews, CJ and Alexis Bruno, Gabrielle, Katelyn and Joseph Dowling. He is also survived by his dear housemates, friends, and the wonderful caring staff at the Communities of Don Guanella and Divine Providence Village.
