David Taylor Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by O'Leary Funeral Home Ltd. on Dec. 23, 2025.
David J. Taylor, Jr., 44, of Clifton Heights, PA, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2025.

Born in Darby, PA, David was the cherished son of David and Carol (Brusstar) Taylor, Sr. He was a proud graduate of Kent School and Wesleyan University, accomplishments that reflected his dedication and determination for success.

David had a deep love for his family and friends and found his greatest joy in time spent with the people he cared about most. He loved to travel, laugh with friends, and could often be found playing hockey or cheering on Philly sports teams. One of his favorite roles in life was being an uncle, he adored playing and making memories with his four nieces, who brought him endless happiness.

David will be lovingly remembered as a devoted son; a beloved brother to Craig (Tovi) Taylor, Jackie (Mike) Gowland, and Amanda Taylor; and a cherished uncle to Aubrie, Kalyn, Kiersten, and Madison. He is reunited with loved ones who passed before him and will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend David's Viewing on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Road, Springfield, PA 19064, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. Interment will take place at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Esophageal Cancer Research Fund in David's memory. https://giving.apps.upenn.edu/fund?program=MC&fund=843038
