Peter Michael Cariera Jr., passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 19, 2026. He was 80. Beloved husband of Rose; loving father of Peter III (Tina) Cariera, Joseph (Tiffanie) Cariera, Josephine (Patrick) McLeod, France Cariera, and Ro (Jeremy) Gill; dear grandpa of Krystle (Brian), Alexandria (Kyle), Savannah (Alec), Nicholas (Patricia), Francesca, William, Sophia, McKenzie (John), Madison "Molly", Ethan (Lauren), Elizabeth, Seraphina, and Augustina; grand-grandpa of Vivian and Stella; brother of Dominic, Rosemarie, Penny, Thomas (Deborah), Nancy (Patrick), and the late Loretta, Jimmy, and Laurie. Also survived by Diane (Michael) Moore and family.

Pete was a devoted and loving father whose family meant everything to him. He was a hardworking and successful businessman. Throughout his career, Pete owned Mr Pizza Bootleg Party Store, many Dino's pizzerias and co-owned Cariera's restaurant. He earned the respect of his community through dedication and integrity in his businesses. He had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed pheasant hunting, golfing, and swimming. He enjoyed time spent riding motorcycles and snowmobiles with his kids. His kids meant everything to him. He was known for his humor and warm personality, he had a way of making people smile and truly cared about others. He also shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Jessie, who was always close by. His work ethic, kindness, and love for life will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
