I worked with Pete at the Johnson Space Center. We were two Red Raiders of about the same age. It was aways a pleasure and a treat to see Pete. We was a joyful man and I am sure he is missed by many.

Bruce & I were always fascinated by Pete's aerospace tales. He came to visit us years ago when we lived in Dripping Springs. He was always such a joy to be around!

I am deeply saddened to hear Pete has passed. He has many friends and co-workers here at NASA. I had the privilege to work, hang out and play softball with Pete. A dedicated and hard worker. He was our MVP 3 or 4 times in softball and carried us to the title in 1999. Great memories. He will be missed.
