Peter Connolly (71) of Palm Desert, CA, husband of Judy Connolly, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024. He leaves three children, Katherine Connolly (Sam Tringali) of Beaumont, CA, Carolyn Connolly (Edward Letsche) of Kingston, MA, and Peter Connolly (Sara) of Norwood, MA, as well as two grandchildren, Miles and Elizabeth. He is also survived by two siblings, John Connolly (Sue) of Hicksville, NY, and Peggy May (Paul) of Mineola, NY.
Peter enjoyed spending time with his family, playing his favorite music while relaxing in the pool, and photographing the local high school baseball team. He was an avid sports fan and loved to listen to sports talk radio. His family and community will miss his truly spectacular Christmas displays, which began in early fall and brought smiles and joy to countless families.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St., Westwood on Friday September 27th from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to Palm Desert High School Baseball in Peter’s name. Donations are being collected by Peter’s daughter, Carolyn Connolly, via Venmo - @Carolyn-Leilani
