Peter Cree Obituary
Peter was born March 23, 1938 in St. Regis, Akwesasne, the son of the late Frank and Mary (Gray) Cree. He attended school in the Bombay area.
Peter married Margaret Boots and she later predeceased him. He later married Rita A. Cadieux on August 23, 2003 in Bombay, NY. Peter worked as an Iron Worker for the Local 765 and also worked as an Auto Mechanic. He enjoyed fishing, painting, watching NASCAR and spending time with his family.
Peter is survived by his children, Frank Cree, Thomas (Diane) Cree, Jacqueline (Allen) Arquette, David (Dawn) Cree all of Akwesasne and Carol (Nathane) Jock of Long Sault; his step-children, Mike (Fay) Leroux, Faye (Norm) LeBlanc, James (Lynn) Leroux, Patrick Leroux Jr, all of Cornwall; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Marion (John) Cook and Margaret (Paul) Lazore.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and Francis Cree.
There will no be calling hours or services. A Celebration of life will take place at a later date for family and friends.
