Peter F. Cullari III

Peter passed away at home after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Nyere and her husband Andy, and his father Peter F. Cullari, Jr. He is survived by his wife Elaine N. Cullari, son Peter F. Cullari IV, daughter Natalie A. Cullari, mother Beatrice Cullari (Peter Jr.'s wife), and siblings Carol (the late Tom) Behan, Ruth (Tom) Mullen, John (Janet) Cullari, Carl Cullari, Frank (Julie) Cullari, and Lizzette (Jim) Palagano. He also is survived by many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins. Peter was born in his cherished hometown of Toms River, NJ on April 19, 1954. Nicknamed "Buddy", after his father's nickname "Bud", he had an inquisitive nature and loved to explore the world around him. Growing up, he would dig up trees and sell them, hitchhike across the country, and indulge in one of his favorite pastimes, sports; especially baseball. He was an amazing baseball player and was scouted by the Philadelphia Phillies. It wasn't only playing sports, but listening, watching, and talking about sports that was a lifelong passion for him. People were naturally drawn in by his curiousness, his assertiveness, and his confidence. It never was a surprise that he was such an accomplished entrepreneur and always number one among whatever sales team he was working with. He had such an easy way and trustworthiness with people. Not only this, but Pete worked so hard to be the best at whatever he did. He had beautiful homes in Cream Ridge, New Jersey and Weeki Wachee, Florida where he lived with his wife and raised his kids. Pete always had a number of jobs going on and pursued his personal passions, like his DJ job and own company he called Personality Plus. Personality Plus gave Pete the opportunity to showcase not only his dynamic personality but also his vocal talents. Whether he was at home, at a party, or at a work function, Pete always loved to perform Frank Sinatra songs Karaoke style. He was also a certified entomologist, owning a Pest Control business called Term A Sect for 30 years with his wife and son, and was a Master Home Inspector working with real estate agents. Despite all of his hard work, Pete had a very playful side as well, a gift from his mom. He had a keen sense of humor and was one to make up his own words, interject nonsense into conversations to see if people caught on, and had plenty of nicknames for his animals and loved ones. Most importantly, Peter was an animal lover. He never hesitated to rescue a kitten, adopt a dog, or care for whatever animal he thought was suffering or needed a better life. He will be remembered as a one-of-a-kind, hardworking, and loving member of our family who left us too soon. Buddy will be sorely missed and will be in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
