Mr. Demerly was born in Elkhart, Indiana, on November 26, 1965, son of the late Dewy Peter Demerly and the late Anita Anne Gibson Demerly. Peter was a truck driver for most of his life, having worked for several different companies over the years.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family, but he's survived by some very special friends and neighbors who helped to care for him.
Peter's wishes were to be cremated, and no services will be held at this time.
Pruitt Funeral Home in Royston, GA is in charge of arrangements.
