My wide, Ann, now deceased, and met Peter Drakes, working out at the Peak in Missoula some years ago and we marveled at his work ethic and toughness with his physical disabilities from Parkinson´s disease. Ann always talked with Peter when she saw him working out and they became friends. When Peter could no longer work out with his disabilities, Ann invited Peter and Vickie Mikelsons to our house for weekly cribbage games. This latest for some time with the 3 filling the time with card games and laughter, until Peter could no longer play the card games. Peter was always interesting and Ann and Vickie had great times with Peter playing cards and visiting. We thought Peter was very tough in handling his disabilities. I was saddened to hear of his passing. RIP, Peter. Affectionately, Tom Boone

Ann and I became acquainted for several years with Peter during workouts at the Peak. Ann then invited Peter to join her and Vickie Mikelsons for weekly games of cribbage. Peter started having more physical problems and their games unfortunately had to end. Peter was a most interesting person who struggled with his physical disorders. Ann missed Peter's friendship as his disabilities increased. He was a good friend and will be missed. Tom Boone
