Peter James Duffek, aged 74, passed away peacefully at home on September 27th, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in Antigo, WI on September 28th, 1949, to parents Anton and Dorothy (nee Devine) Duffek. Pete attended Antigo High School and U.W. Madison before working for 40 years in a career in construction equipment and material sales.
Pete married Kathleen “Bonnie” (nee Payant) on June 21st, 1975, and raised four sons.
After retirement, Pete volunteered at ProHealth Waukesha Memorial Hospital as a greeter and escort for 11 years. He was a member of the Catholic Community of Waukesha.
Pete is survived by his wife Kathy “Bonnie” and four sons: Peter (Pamela), Mike (Kristin), Dan, Tony (Ashley) and 10 grandchildren: Luke, Cody, Madeline, Jonathan, Carolyn, Lydia, Noah, Ben, Charlie, and Teagan.
He is preceded in death by a son Anthony C.; sister-in-law, Patricia Payant; and parents.
Services will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, at St. John Neumann Church 2400 WI-59, Waukesha WI 53189. Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. with funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., with lunch to follow.
